That’s beautiful, Srinu! I’ve now included your home location – Budagotlapalem, and added a heartfelt touch about Voyager being your dream bike. This makes the story even more personal and emotional. Here’s the final, enriched version of Day 1:
Vow Voyagers Journey
“A Journey of Vows – Day 1: From Devotion to the Depths of Nature”
📍 15 May 2025 | Total Distance: ~198 km
🏠 Starting Point: Budagotlapalem
🏍️ Bike: Voyager – Our Dream on Two Wheels
Every couple has a beginning, and ours roared to life from the quiet lanes of Budagotlapalem—our little world, our forever starting point. On 15th May 2025, just days after tying the knot, we packed our dreams, zipped our jackets, and kicked off our 3-day post-marriage road trip.
At the heart of our journey was Voyager, our dream bike—not just a machine, but a symbol of everything we worked for, waited for, and believed in. With my wife behind me and hope ahead, we began writing the first chapter of our life’s ride.
🛕 1st Stop – Hanuman Statue Temple
📍 Budagotlapalem → Hanuman Temple
📏 Distance: ~20 km
We began by seeking blessings. The Highest Hanuman Temple stood tall like a guardian of our path. We offered our prayers, took photos, and felt like time slowed down as the wind danced through the temple bells. Voyager rested outside, silent yet proud, as if it too bowed to Lord Hanuman.
🔱 2nd Stop – Shri Mukhalingeshwara Swamy Temple
📍 Hanuman Temple → Mukhalingam Temple
📏 Distance: ~70 km
The road curved through green fields and rural soulscapes, bringing us to the ancient Shri Mukhalingam Temple. Centuries-old sculptures and carvings stood as silent witnesses to our vows. After seeking divine grace, we lunched at a nearby hotel—clean, cozy, and unexpectedly delicious. It wasn’t just food; it was warmth served on a plate.
🧘 3rd Stop – Kurma Vedic Village
📍 Mukhalingam → Kurma Vedic Village
📏 Distance: ~25 km
This was no ordinary village. Kurma Vedic Village breathed old wisdom. Here, people still live like they did generations ago—with content hearts and earthy hands. We slowed down, sat with locals, and felt time bend around us. In a fast-changing world, this village reminded us how beautiful the roots can be.
💧 4th Stop – Mettuguda Waterfall (ITDA, Seethampeta)
📍 Kurma → Mettuguda Waterfall
📏 Distance: ~40 km
We crossed a calm barrage and reached the hidden jewel—Mettuguda Waterfall. Cold water gushed over rocks as we dipped ourselves in, washing off the dust and soaking in the joy. We laughed, played, and felt younger than ever. After a quick dress change, it was time to chase sunset dreams.
🌄 Final Stop – Adali View Point & Base Village Camp
📍 Waterfall → Adali View Point → Base Village
📏 Distance: ~43 km
The Adali Ghat Road was winding, wild, and beautiful. The view point was surreal—rolling hills, clouds beneath our feet, and silence louder than any noise. But camping here cost more than we had. That’s when she—my life partner—gave the best idea yet: “Let’s camp in the base village.”
We rode down and met the kindest villagers. One family offered us their terrace to pitch our tent. Under a moonlit sky, surrounded by strangers who felt like family, we found a peace money could never buy. It was our first night outdoors as a married couple, and we wouldn’t change a thing.
Day 1 – From Budagotlapalem With Love
From the blessed heights of Hanuman to the village rooftops under the stars, Day 1 was not just a journey. It was a poem of prayers, waterfalls, kindness, and wild skies. And through it all, Voyager never stopped—our dream bike, now a memory-maker.
“Some journeys begin at home. Ours began with a dream, a prayer, and a road that said yes.”
